Blood Covenant[2][3] is a five-piece extreme metal band from Chennai,[4] India which formed in September 2005. The band claims to be of the genre "white extreme metal,"[5] a fusion of Christian metal,[6] Death metal, Grind metal, and influences of Speed metal. Currently the band is working on an album which is due to be released by next year.[5] The band's influences include Mortification, Living Sacrifice, Extol, Crimson Moonlight, Horde, Frost Like Ashes, and Antestor.[7] All the lyrical content is based on the New Testament of the Bible.[8][9][10][11][12][13][13]
